The Das Novas Story
Our Beginning
Das Novas, established in the fall of 2022, and is made up of four of Big Stone Gap’s most accredited song writers and musicians; Anthony Wayne, Stephen Murray, Evan O'Quinn, and Brandon Maggard. Each member brings their own style, soul and song to the group, showcased and supported by acoustic guitars, bass, trumpet, keyboards, and an array of percussion.
Our Sound
Spend an evening with Das Novas and you’ll be transported from the sounds of today’s Appalachian folk to the early 20s in France, a side street in New Orleans, the coffee shop in Greenwich Village in 1960, the good old rocknroll station that kept your feet moving to the beat.
No matter who you are or where you’re from, Das Novas will have you dancing and asking for more.
